THE POWER OF COLLECTIVE WISDOM

Due to great interest, we will continue to organize the Reflection Sessions after the summer. Themes that are definitely on our agenda are sleep , diversity and inclusion and building and maintaining good relationships .

WHY

When hard times strike we find meaning in helping each other. Adjusting our lives to the new reality with the coronavirus is a challenge for all of us.

WHAT

Every week we invite an inspirational leader and mentor to join our reflection session to give you the opportunity to discuss all that's on your mind and in particular the challenges you are facing in these uncertain times.

HOW

To join us please define a specific question you would like to ask during the session and send it to kim@vanderfeltz.com before May 11, 2020. Selected participants will hear back from us by Monday May 11, 2020. Max. 6 participants per session.

FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS

  • "It's a gift to yourself. Understanding each others challenges brings clarity and connection."

  • "It was very comforting to take the time to reflect and connect with a group of inspiring women after a day of hard work."

  • "It was an enriching evening. The gift of sharing feelings, knowledge and inspiration."

Reflection Session Marry de Gaay Fortman

DID YOU KNOW LAWYERS:

  • Are mostly risk averse and prefer to avoid change if they can;

  • Experience professional bias - they are trained to identify issues and they therefore tend to do the same when working together in a team;

  • Have few role models when it comes to inspirational leadership - "I had to go through the same when I started!";

  • Always work under enormous pressure and therefore have little time to reflect;

  • Struggle to delegate and
    therefore have a tendency to micromanage. They literally can't afford to make mistakes so they have a tendency to want to do everything themselves.
