Authentic, caring and direct are words that describe me. In my coaching I can be both sensitive and confrontational. I listen with my heart, observe, ask questions and hold up a mirror. I'm aware of the high pressure and often stressful environment that is common within professional services and I therefore keep things simple and get to the point quickly. Depending on the question, clients frequently use me as an unbiased sparring partner.
Being a diplomat's daughter I was born in the Bahamas and lived in developing countries until I was 18. Along the way I encountered many different cultures and learned that we cannot measure people by the same standards. This experience also taught me to trust my own instincts as the world around me was continuously changing.
I'm married, mother of three young children and I live in Bussum, a small town near Amsterdam. Going on an adventure without a plan together with my family is one of my favorite things in the world.

CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
A few years ago I was listening to a podcast with Rich Roll and Chris Guillebeau "On Why You Need A Side Hustle" (Even If You Love Your Job) and I believe that was the moment that the seeds for Kevedi Jewelry were planted.
As long as I can remember, creativity has been an important part of who I am. As a child I loved to do handicrafts, draw and wrap presents and later I started to write poems, paint and also building this website is an example of how much I energy I get from the creative process. Creativity helps me to empty my head. You could say it's my way of meditating.
Besides my coaching and facilitation projects I put a lot of work and dedication into Kevedi. This serious side hustle originates from my desire to be creative and is inspired by my work as a coach. Kevedi's mission is to inspire you with our jewelry to live more consciously by loving who you are and caring for our precious planet.
