EMPOWERMENT IN ORGANISATIONS.

What is Empowerment?

You can think of Empowerment as a new way of working. In an empowered working environment creativity and innovation are encouraged and there is room for failure, people focus on their strengths, connect in a professional and personal manner, give each other regular and constructive feedback and everyone is aware of how they are contributing to the bigger picture. The momentum it creates is infectious inspiring more and more people to work together in the new way.

Why Empowerment?

For me Empowerment means that an organisation is capable of attracting true talent and retaining these people by ensuring they can reach their full potential. A workforce that feels motivated and acknowledged will not only perform better but also serve the client in a distinctive manner and of course you will see this reflected back on the success of the entire organisation.

How to begin?

Keeping it simple is key so we start by assessing what works well in the organisation and what doesn't. Next we identify small changes that make a big difference. Often the easiest way to find out if an intervention is effective is to do a pilot. It enables you to stay flexible and saves you a lot of valuable time. The world is changing at such an extremely fast pace that it no longer pays out to first do endless analysis and fact checking before taking a decision as it will be outdated by the time you're ready. Also this approach helps to create widespread support from within the organisation as the workforce not only plays an active rol but they also experience at first hand the impact it has on them personally

I would love for you to contact me to see if Empowerment could be interesting for your organisation.
